U.B. Kinsey/ Palmview Elementary School of the Arts

Beginning at U. B. Kinsey/Palmview Elementary School, the Trojan Rocking Horse inspired by the students of this school will trot along the Historic Northwest and into Downtown West Palm Beach. The neighborhood is the first historic district to be included on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. Home to the WPB Police Athletic League, Queen of Sheeba, and the Courthouse Café, the Trojan Rocking Horse will be making stops at these locations, and more, to collect our community’s dreams. Meandering through the neighborhood, it will enter Downtown through Rosemary Avenue making its way down Fern Street and meeting with the rest of the herd on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Nancy Graham Centennial Square for their final ceremonial walk down Clematis Street to the West Palm Beach City Hall.

NORTHEAST ROUTE

Esperanza Community Center

The Esperanza Community Center serves a predominantly Hispanic population, many of the families being recent or first-generation immigrants from Guatemala and Southern Mexico. The Trojan Rocking Horse inspired by the designs created by the children from the Esperanza Center will be galloping down Broadway Boulevard through the Northwood neighborhood and into Downtown West Palm Beach to collect our community dreams. Stopping along the way at the business corridor in Northwood, Good Samaritan Medical Center, residences, the Mediterranean Market & Deli, Flagler Drive, and the Ben Hotel, the horse will gather with the rest of the herd on Friday, March 10 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Nancy Graham Centennial Square for their final ceremonial walk down Clematis Street to West Palm Beach City Hall.

EAST ROUTE

Palm Beach Public Elementary School

Palm Beach Public Elementary is situated in the Town of Palm Beach, just across Downtown West Palm Beach connected through bridges that span across the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway. The Trojan Rocking Horse designed by the children of PB Public Elementary will be trotting along the Okeechobee bridge and making several stops along Flagler Drive, at places such as the South Cove Islands, the Meyer Amphitheater, and E. R. Bradley’s to collect our community dreams. It will then work its way west to the Historical Society of Palm Beach County, and then head south toward the Canopy Hotel.  The horse will meet with the rest of the herd on Friday, March 10th, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Nancy Graham Centennial Square for their final ceremonial walk down Clematis Street to West Palm Beach City Hall.

SOUTHWEST ROUTE

Cox Science Center and Aquarium

The Cox Science Museum is situated in beautiful Dreher Park, in which our youngest designers gathered from ages 2-6 to design their own Trojan Rocking Horse. The horse will gallop its way north through Georgia Avenue stopping along the way at residences, schools, and other community parks to collect our community dreams. Once it enters Downtown West Palm Beach through Dixie Highway it will continue to visit residential buildings, local coffee shops, and other pocket parks. From CityZen Garden in the heart of downtown, it will trot along Clematis to meet with the rest of the herd on Friday, March 10 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Nancy Graham Centennial Square for their final ceremonial walk down Clematis Street to West Palm Beach City Hall.

SOUTHEAST ROUTE

The Greene School, Rohi’s Readery, Resource Depot

START 🡢 MON • MAR 6 2023

Starting at one of the most southern points of the City of West Palm Beach near Havana Restaurant on Forest Hill Boulevard, the Trojan Rocking Horse designed by the Green School at Rohi’s Readery will be making its way through the Southend to El Cid and crossing the Norton Museum to collect our community dreams. The horse will be making several stops along the way, with a special visit to the Resource Depot, which supplied all the recycled materials in order to support all eight sustainable art workshops. Once the horse enters Downtown West Palm Beach through the Square, it will continue to visit residential buildings, local coffee shops, and other pocket parks until reaching the rest of the herd on Friday, March 10th, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Nancy Graham Centennial Square for their final ceremonial walk down Clematis Street to West Palm Beach City Hall.

WESTERN ROUTE

Yesteryear Village

West Palm Beach has a hidden gem in the Yesteryear Village located at the South Florida Fairgrounds, where kids from Everglades Elementary School designed a Trojan Rocking Horse. This horse will travel far to capture our community dreams that are out west and make its way through local parks, schools, and residential areas as it gallops east to enter the Downtown West Palm Beach through the Grandview Public Market. This horse will then make its way north on Tamarind Avenue as it reaches Tri-Rail and the residential areas west of the tracks, such as the Edge condominium and Montecito. As it continues to visit residential buildings, local coffee shops, and other pocket parks it will turn east to reach the rest of the herd on Friday, March 10th, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Nancy Graham Centennial Square for their final ceremonial walk down Clematis Street to West Palm Beach City Hall.

DOWNTOWN ROUTE

Bilgrav School and PB Dramaworks

The kids from the Bilgrav School located in Downtown West Palm Beach designed a Trojan Rocking Horse during our workshop at our local theater, Palm Beach Dramaworks. This horse will be grazing around the downtown area, visiting Dreyfoos School of the Arts, the Brightline Train Station, and many of the local shops and residential buildings in the area to collect our community dreams. In its final trot, it will trek along Fern Street and Olive Avenue to meet with the rest of the herd on Friday, March 10th, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Nancy Graham Centennial Square for their final ceremonial walk down Clematis Street to West Palm Beach City Hall.

DOWNTOWN ROUTE

WPB GreenMarket

Kids that live and visit Downtown West Palm Beach, had the opportunity to design a Trojan Rocking Horse at the West Palm Beach Green Market. This horse will get to graze the downtown area making stops at the Mandel Public Library, residential buildings, local businesses, and the West Palm Beach Fire Rescue Station to collect our community dreams. In its final trot, it will come down south on Olive Avenue to meet with the rest of the herd on Friday, March 10th, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Nancy Graham Centennial Square for their final ceremonial walk down Clematis Street to West Palm Beach City Hall.
